About The Tournament History
The Franklin County Perinatal Education Center, Inc. began hosting the Gold Cup Golf Tournament in 2004. The tournament serves as a primary fundraiser for the Perinatal Center. Proceeds benefit the Center to create programs to educate women and their families about childbirth and related topics. The tournament, now entering its 3rd year, has been a tremendous success, consistently hosting a wide variety of businesses from the surrounding region.


Information on the Tournament
The 2006 Gold Cup will take place on Saturday, June 17th, at Mariners Landing Golf & Country Club.
The 18-hole tournament, gets underway with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
Players receive green fees and cart, with Top Awards presented at dinner.
 Prizes are awarded to the top three teams with the lowest gross and net scores.
in addition, every player will have the opportunity to win closest-to-pin, longest
drive, hole-in-one and other prizes!

The FCPED is a non-profit organization dependent on donations and grants for funding. The Perinatal Education Center provides free child safety seats and products for eligible families in the counties of Franklin, Patrick, and Henry.
