 PURPOSE:
  • Class participants will:
    • be able to discuss healthy newborn appearances, procedures, and reflexes
    • demonstrate bathing, proper positions for holding, burping, diaper changing, core care, and swaddling
    • identify ways of providing a safe environment for the infant.
